CCA also promotes friendships among students from diverse backgrounds as they learn, play and grow together. Participation in CCA fosters social integration and deepens students’ sense of belonging, commitment and sense of responsibility to school, community and nation.
Wide range of CCAs and a number of clubs, societies and sports events provide the students with opportunities to acquire leadership skills and hone their latent talents.
Excursions & Educational Trips
We provide our students rich educational experiences, related to curriculum but away from their regular school environment through field trips. Students visiting different locations learn in a more hands-on and interactive manner than they do in school.
While the field trips provide alternative educational opportunities for children, they also benefit the wider community. Through active community service programs, the students develop respect and sensitivity for the environment.
Each class undertakes at least one educational visit per year to enhance their learning and get a first-hand experience of what they are being taught. Learning in assorted ways can appeal to varied learning styles, helping children to succeed whether they are visual, auditory or kinetic learners. Moreover, while the purpose is essentially to educate, these visits can be fun bonding experiences for everyone.
For many DHAES students, these trips are some of their most formative, enriching and enjoyable aspects of education, hence, we also plan to arrange excursions with over-night stays for senior students. However, safety and security of the children is our prime concern and arrangements are made accordingly in liaison with DHA Security Department
